As a Financial Analysis professional in our Asset & Wealth Management, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
You will be responsible in part for the analytics, forecasting, and profitability of the Workplace Group.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reporting on and monitoring key metrics, driving data quality initiatives across the product area, and helping define future needs of the product area. Serve as a strategic partner to the Workplace Solutions Leadership through the development and management of annual financial budgets and monthly forecasting processes for Flows, Balances, Revenue, Headcount and Expenses.
- Analyze financials to understand business drivers and identify opportunities to improve. Participate in the month-end close process with the broader AWM finance to research/resolve data issues
- Lead and execute the production/automation of quarterly regulatory reporting. Navigate, interpret and analyze data sets and prepare insightful presentations for business reviews and senior management meetings
- Execute analytical ad-hoc requests and support various stakeholders. Enhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible
- Perform variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and provide commentary explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets
- Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly and adhoc reporting of the results and drivers for senior management
- Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible. Work on projects to drive global consistency and create synergies across the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum of CA or an MBA in Finance is required with 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, and/or programming languages (Python, SQL) preferred
- Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets. Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly. Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management. Proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments, often with little lead time or information
- Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
- Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
