Your new job | About your main responsibilities

As a consultant your role will be to lead a sub project within client engagements. You will work independently as well as in teams at our clients, supporting them with improving their business performance. You will use your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to help structure and analyse the problems of the client and report the findings and results.Drawing on your knowledge, skills, and experience, you will start to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers.You will play an active role and contribute to the EY SC&O team internally by developing project proposals, solutions, trainings, and thought leadership.


Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution

  • 2-5 years’ work experience in a Procurement related environment (Consulting or business).
  • A master’s degree preferably in the field of Business, Operations management, or Supply Chain Management.
  • An analytical and a structured way of working, you are strong in conceptual thinking, and you have a great drive and are enthusiastic.
  • Proactive and energetic, with innovative qualities that enable high quality work to be delivered often in relatively short timeframes.
  • Collaborative team player, with the capability to work within cross-functional teams, collaborating with colleagues from different countries and departments to achieve common goals.
  • Results oriented, focused on achieving high quality value to clients, and continuously striving for excellence.
  • Proficiency in project management, to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, and clients are kept informed.
  • Fluent language skills in English & Dutch.

2. First interview: Before the interview, we’ll ask you to complete an online assessment. Not a standard questionnaire, but a game-based assessment focusing on both your cognitive skills and behavioral preferences. We’ll discuss the results during the interview, which will include a colleague from the relevant department. This mutual introduction is a chance for us to get to know you, and for you to ask any questions you have.

3. Second interview: If we see a match and you’re still enthusiastic, we’ll invite you for a second interview. We’ll dive deeper into the role and other relevant topics. Sometimes, a business case is part of the process. A final interview may also follow.
