Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and monitor Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable computing processes.
• Operate in a Linux environment to manage and enhance system performance.
• Optimize computational resources, leveraging both CPU and GPU capabilities for maximum efficiency.
• Document and communicate effectively regarding issues and solutions encountered during the project lifecycle.

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including services like EC2, S3, and EFS.
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS administration.
• Strong ability to collaborate within international and intercultural teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with job schedulers and parallel processing.
• Experience in GPU processing.
• Knowledge of developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker or Singularity.
• Proficiency in version control tools (like GIT, Subversion, GitHub, Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with automation tools (like CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform).
• Background or experience in life sciences, particularly in areas such as infectious diseases, immuno-oncology, or neuroscience.
