As a, you will deliver products and improvements for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, you will craft and develop software for private cloud (Kubernetes) platforms leveraging most sophisticated opensource technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and partnerships.
You will:

• Create automation, employ open-source software, interact with API’s, and enable CI/CD to create new cloud features, harvest/visualize metrics, monitorhealth/performance/capacity,etc
• Partner with product and development teams to provide education and design consultation.
• Support development teams to migrate applications to Kubernetes based container platform.
• Design specifications for high availability and highly scalable applications which will be used by Dell Internal application teams.
• Assist in crafting the strategic technical and architectural direction to the programming function.

• 8 to 12 years of professional experience with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field
• Experience with Java, Spring boot, Golang, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Service mesh (Istio), NGINX Ingress, Helm Chart
• Experience with Kubernetes networking, Certificates, Kubernetes storage, Kubernetesmonitoring/observability (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk etc.),Linux exp, Bash scripting, Kubernetes RBAC, Container/pod security
• Knowledge about Operator SDK/use of Fabric8 API (For Java Develop)
• Experience with Agile methodologies, effective working independently and in a virtual team setting.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with Opensource development and technologies like Calico and other CNCF technologies
• Varied knowledge of database, development, system engineering and networking concepts
