This position will be part of a dynamic crew that test, measure and maintain the performance and quality of complex heterogeneous computing systems that power automotive products used in self-driving cars. We are looking for a senior test Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and large scale in-car tests to ensure self-driving car SW/HW stack meet high standards of quality. As a member of this core team, you will be working with highly competitive and motivated engineers. What you'll be doing:

• Develop and lead In-Car test strategy and test plan to ensure software release as required.

• Design test cases based on product requirements and design test methods for proving ground and public road scenarios to ensure comprehensive metric and coverage testing for ADAS/AD Software features.

• Design test routes and perform large scale in-car test to ensure delivery quality could match the expectation of end user, be able to identify/derive the corner case from testing to improve coverage.

• Support test tooling teams to rapidly prototyping solutions to unblock execution and working with the relevant tooling/ops teams to productionize them in a manner that is consistent with the broader process/ecosystem.

• Review product requirements, develop test matrics, and establish KPI evaluation.

• Troubleshooting issues, collaborating with engineers to identify root causes, and contributing to QA process improvements.

What we need to see:

• Strong in-car test leader with leadership 2+ years experience;

• 6+ Experience in large scale AV testing;

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline;

• Technical in nature and be able to zoom in and out of scope as needed from the lowest detail to high level vision of the job.

• Prior experience in Vehicle bring up, Verification and Validation test at large scale;

• Prior experience on AD Triage workflows;

• Be able to influence and thrive multi-functional teams.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Proven large scale in-car test experiences for self-development L2/L2++ product delivery.

• Background in developing or using autonomous vehicle simulators and their workflows.

• Experience specifying, developing, or working to Automotive Standards ISO26262, ISO21448.
