Based out of Burnaby or other area in the Lower Mainland or BC Interior, you’ll join our aquatics team and work as part of multi-disciplinary project teams to contribute directly to the baseline environmental planning, permitting, and construction efforts of government and privately-owned infrastructure projects throughout Western Canada. As an Intermediate Aquatics Biologist, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring field crews for surveys supporting all project phases from permitting, baseline assessments, construction, and post-construction monitoring. T his position will start in the spring with an anticipated 80% of travel for fieldwork and 20% office work. A successful offer will be fulltime or a 12-month contract depending on workload and/or skillset. Contracts have the potential of extension or conversation to fulltime.
