The position includes PHY algorithm development, simulation, implementation, and testing for data communication modems supporting 5G NR Rel-15/16/17. The algorithm design will involve both RF/Analog and Digital/Baseband interactions within the modem as well as fixed point implementation.

Minimum Qualification:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering , Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or similar and studying towards a MSc or PhD, ideally in ending stages.

What we would love to see:

• Good background of digital communications theory and signal processing

• Solid knowledge about mobile communication systems

• Experience in Matlab and C++ High level of written and spoken English. German not required but a plus.

• Coursework in communication theory, signal processing, error correcting codes, information theory, probability and random processes, digital communications
