As an engineer on Excel Copilot, you will be unlocking the power of Excel for novice and experienced users alike, building new ways for users to analyze, transform, and present their spreadsheets, and working at the cutting edge of new technology. Previous experience with AI is not required for this role.Excel charts are a powerful feature that transform raw data into visually compelling representations, making it easier for users to interpret, analyze, and present information. By converting complex datasets into various chart formats such as bar, line, pie, and scatter plots, Excel empowers users to quickly identify trends, patterns, and outliers. The interactive elements of Excel charts, such as dynamic updates and customizable features, allow users to tailor their visualizations to specific needs and preferences, ensuring that the data is presented in the most meaningful way possible. Overall, Excel charts are an indispensable tool for anyone looking to harness the full potential of their data.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in building and shipping production grade software and services, writing code in an object-oriented programming language such as Java, C++, C#, Python, TypeScript, etc.
  
• Demonstrated experience in shipping high-quality products or services
  
• Experience delivering successful Web or Cloud projects.
• You’ve led – you have experience leading a team of engineers by setting clear expectations, keeping team members energized, and delivering great results.
  
• You collaborate – you can explain your work, you can ask great questions, you can listen to your peers and your customers, you can influence without authority, and you like to give and receive feedback.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
