As an Investment Specialist Vice President- EMAP Equities in the Investor Support team, you will be a strategic thinker passionate about promoting solutions. You will work closely with the Senior Investment Specialists to manage the team in Mumbai, aligning their career aspirations with business priorities and team member capabilities. Your role will involve preparing strategy and client presentations, analyzing portfolios, and coordinating with various teams to cater to client requirements. This role provides an opportunity to leverage your leadership, communication, and analytical skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the team in Mumbai and work with the Senior Investment Specialists to align their career aspirations considering business priorities and each team member's capabilities
• Prepare Strategy presentations comprising of:
  • Performance & Market value
  • Analytics and characteristics of the portfolio
  • Details on holdings in the portfolio
  • Messaging on the key selling points of the product and the market
• Prepare customized Client presentations for IS’s review meetings
• Analyze portfolios including positioning , analytics and performance results
• Co-ordinate with Sales, Consultants and RFP(Request for proposal) teams to cater client requirements using product knowledge
• Respond to ad hoc data requests and reporting needs

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Post Graduate, MBA with at least 8 years of experience in financial markets
• Team leader, who lead with example and people management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Understanding of Equities (or any asset class), portfolio management practices, and the asset management business.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills (including data analysis and ability to understand data flows)
• Proactive, positive approach. Able to grasp/learn concepts and procedures quickly
• Ability to foresee problems/think ahead and ask relevant questions - instead of just plain execution
• Delivery focus and detail-orientation with strong commitment to accuracy
• Self-starter and ability to work both independently and as a team player
