Key job responsibilities
* Be a subject matter expert on AWS storage services for our Account teams and customers.* Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
* You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy storage and data strategies
* Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
* Partner with Sales Specialist teams to define the technical components of best in class GTM concepts, solutions, and initiatives.
* Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide.
* Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate Amazon Web Services solutions into customer architectures.About the team

- 5+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of large-scale storage solutions and Deep experience with IT storage architectures, and how SAN and NAS solutions integrate into large-scale production applications.
- Experience with replication, high availability, archiving, backup & restore, and disaster recovery/business continuity storage practices and Technical consulting and architecture with large-scale engagements
- Experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations, for complex mission-critical solutions and Technical degree required and Experience using and adapting to new technologies

- Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience with Enterprise storage vendors such as EMC, NetApp, Veritas, HP, IBM and, Commvault.
- Experience with encryption-at-rest and key management solutions.
- Understanding of AWS Storage Services such as S3, Glacier, and Snowball. Use of AWS in production a plus.
