What You’ll Do:
- Help scale our financial services ambitions at Uber as part of a small but mighty Financial Products Business Development team
- Source partners that can help service Uber’s financial services ambitions across multiple deal archetypes
- Lead strategic and complex negotiations from the outset to completion, engaging cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment across teams on deal terms.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, partner management, or similar roles in payments at a technology company or payments company
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in Fintech or Payments
- Expertise in payments, financial services, financial products, gift cards, payment acceptance and disbursements, risk, identity, wallets, card networks, and compliance
- Financial modelling skills
- Strong product instincts and ability to find opportunities to leverage partners’ existing and in-development products, as well as the ability to collaborate with Uber’s Product, Operations, and Engineering organization to build premier features for our users
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
- Experience with establishing and maintaining C-level relationships at partner companies
- Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$158,000 per year - USD$175,500 per year.
