The opportunities:

As a member of the Data Protection/Technology Risk Practice, you will be working on a various range of technical, regulatory, process and business-based topics.

Your key responsibilities

  • Providing regulatory assessment on data protection matters to a wide range of clients from the financial services, commercial, healthcare and Fintech sectors.
  • Reviewing and data protection related documents such as policies and procedures, registers, data protection automations, workflows.
  • Assisting in GDPR certification projects.
  • Assisting in the Data Governance projects.
  • Assessing GDPR matters on artificial intelligent and automated decision-making projects.
  • Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments.
  • Providing data protection awareness trainings assisted by information security experts.
  • Carry out assessments using the GDPR (regulation at large), good practice framework such as CARPA or Europrivacy, international data protection frameworks, etc.
  • Review of cookies management and drafting of cookies policies
  • Implementing and automating advanced GDPR tooling for retention, process automation and DSR.

Qualifications

  • You have 2+ years of relevant experiences in a similar working environment or in a law firm handling at least contractual matters
  • You have a thorough understanding of European data protection laws and regulations and awareness of their application in Luxembourg
  • Certification such as IAPP are a plus
  • Degree educated in technology and or data protection
  • Knowledges and past experiences in Contractual matters (notably IT contracts) or New Technology Laws/GDPR/Data Protection matters is an asset
  • You are fluent in English. Any other language skills such as German/French will be considered as an asset (but it is not compulsory)
  • You demonstrate excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
  • You show well established organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills
  • You appreciate working in a highly dynamic & international environment
