Visually and/or dimensional inspect aerospace product to ensure conformity to Type Design and is in condition for safe operation.
Issue FAA Authorized Release Certificates (FAA Form 8130-3) for Domestic or Export
Comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and Honeywell ODA Manual requirements.
Identify problem areas and take remedial action where required.
Work effectively with the FAA, other ODA Unit Members and ODA organizations, Engineering staff and other departments, as required.
Responsible to access MAG program daily activation.
Report any defect and issue QN and report the defect to Quality Manager and Engineer.
YOU MUST HAVE
3 years as an FAA designee or, company Aerospace inspector or, FAA manufacturing inspector.
3 year years relevant experience with Quality Control processes/methods and techniques related to Aerospace products required.

Ability to read and understand technical data including Type Design data such as Blue Prints, Drawings, specifications and airworthiness related regulations.
Basic understanding in the use of measuring equipment.
Must be able to read and understand English (Both verbal and written).
Familiarity with Aerospace products is required.

Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. (Preferred)
Shall have PC skills.
Familiar with SAP.
Problem solving skills.
Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies and/or requirements (Preferred).
Prior or current Airworthiness Designee certification (ODAR / DMIR / DAR/ DER) is preferred but not essential.
