RESPONSIBILITY

• Visually and/or dimensional inspect aerospace product to ensure conformity to Type Design and is in condition for safe operation.
• Issue FAA Authorized Release Certificates (FAA Form 8130-3) for Domestic or Export
• Comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and Honeywell ODA Manual requirements.
• Identify problem areas and take remedial action where required.
• Work effectively with the FAA, other ODA Unit Members and ODA organizations, Engineering staff and other departments, as required.
• Responsible to access MAG program daily activation.
• Report any defect and issue QN and report the defect to Quality Manager and Engineer.

• 3 years as an FAA designee or, company Aerospace inspector or, FAA manufacturing inspector.
• 3 year years relevant experience with Quality Control processes/methods and techniques related to Aerospace products required.

• Ability to read and understand technical data including Type Design data such as Blue Prints, Drawings, specifications and airworthiness related regulations.
• Basic understanding in the use of measuring equipment.
• Must be able to read and understand English (Both verbal and written).
• Familiarity with Aerospace products is required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English. (Required)
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. (Preferred)
• Shall have PC skills.
• Familiar with SAP.
• Problem solving skills.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory agencies and/or requirements (Preferred).
• Prior or current Airworthiness Designee certification (ODAR / DMIR / DAR/ DER) is preferred but not essential.
