Your Role and Responsibilities
As an SAP Spartacus Developer at IBM, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless and engaging user experiences for our customers.
- User Experience: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces, enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of the eCommerce platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, proactively contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Design and Development: Develop and customize the SAP Spartacus storefront using REACT to meet business requirements, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Integration: Integrate Spartacus with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and other third-party systems, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization.
- GraphQL: Implement and maintain GraphQL APIs to facilitate efficient data querying and manipulation.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong proficiency in REACT, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- 2+ Years of experience with SAP Spartacus development, including customization and extension of components.
- Extensive experience with GraphQL, including designing and consuming GraphQL APIs.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
