The position
The autonomous vehicle projects are generating huge amounts of data, and our challenge is to enable it for usage by the entire organization (Deep Learning/Machine Learning developers, Product Managers, Analysts, and more).
What will your job look like:
- Set objectives and goals over multiple strategic projects.
- Planning sprints and roadmaps, allocating resources, identifying risks and bottlenecks.
- Foster the team’s culture, promote collaborations, and provide mentorship to and support to team members.
- Work closely with product managers and other R&D team to define new features and capabilities.
- Take part in the design & development of a multi-service cloud-based big data platform.
- At least 50% hands on – developing code and conducting CRs.
All you need is:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Strong skills in Python
- Experience in developing backend services with known frameworks (Django, Flask, or any similar one)
- Experience with databases (relational and schema-less), cache and efficient data modeling
- Experience with containerized services
Advantages:
- Previous experience as a manager or in a position involving leadership
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with one of the following solutions: Spark, Presto, Trino, Athena or Drill
