The candidate should have strong coding skills in defensive development and experience in secure firmware development. This job involves coding and writing secure code. The successful candidate should have experience with some or all of the following: Confidential Compute, secure boot, measured boot, hardware root of trusts, cryptoanalysis. Understanding of Real-time OS and OS primitives, memory management, memory protection, scheduling, interrupts, threading, Trusted Execution Environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Rust
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with security protocols, secure boot and measured boot, LLVM and GCC compilers
  • Familiar with Confidential Compute, network and server architectures.

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities
  • Full-stack architecture of hardware, firmware and software for secure AI infrastructure.
  • Write and review code that forms Trusted Execution Environments on CPU, GPU and IO Devices.
  • Collaborate with Azure engineering teams to integrate custom AI accelerators into the Azure stack.
