• ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS’s), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.o Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
o Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
o Supervise contractor or Engineering Operations Technicians to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment
o Driving continuous improvement efforts on infrastructure through standardization of procedures and policies, while delivering performance against agreed metrics
o Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians and assist in
recruiting efforts
Lead the root cause analysis for operational issues, and conduct meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to finalize mitigation strategies• Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations)
• Ability to work shifts (morning, late and night)
• On-call rotation reaction to off-duty emergency calls

• Completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician/Electrician or equivalent recognized training
• Very good command of English
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word) and web-based operational tools
• Proficient with Change Management Systems (CMS) and Ticket Systems
• Broad operational knowledge and experience with and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment

• Extensive Data Center engineering experience or Job-related experience
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
• Familiar with Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) control systems and data collection/trending
• Highly proficient in written and spoken English
• Very good command of German
