Analyze and diagnose PCBA's of the medical segment with functional failures that come from the test equipment, attend to line stoppages that derive from these failures and provide support to give the proper feedback the related areas to correct or contain the manufacturing defects found. The technician will interpretate failure modes, replicate test in bench and develop trouble shootings.
What a typical day looks like:
Take stock of the units of his station.
Establish priorities of the units regarding the aging.
Debug and repair mechanical and electronic assemblies at a component level.
Operates electronic test equipment.
Use measuring instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, performing special tests as needed.
Provides technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel.
Collaborates with the engineering department in troubleshooting functionality issues and updating procedures.
Develops Debug Guides for PCBA troubleshooting.
Complies with all safety guidelines and reports unsafe conditions to their supervisor.
Keep his station clean and in order.
