Engineering Responsible Manager (Hospital Patient Monitoring)

In this role, you will take responsibility as Engineering Responsible Manager/Technical Product Owner for products in the IntelliVue family in the post-launch phase. You are the first point of contact for potential product changes and technical questions and ensure that each change is accurately evaluated and documented. Your main task is to ensure the quality of our products and the associated documentation throughout the entire product life cycle. You will lead projects aimed at implementing product changes and improvements for patients and healthcare professionals. You will work closely with colleagues from different departments such as Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Product Industrialization, Manufacturing and Test Development to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration.
• Owning the product design documentation (design history file) and ensuring that all product documents comply with the internal specifications (quality management system)
• Ensuring that changes are traceable and that the product meets all required standards
• Representing the product in internal and external audits
• Ensuring that changes do not have a negative impact on product quality
• Leading problem-solving discussions with experts from various departments and take part in product-related CAPAs (corrective and preventive actions)
• Managing cross-functional project teams and ensuring that changes are implemented on time and within budget
• Degree in electrical engineering, medical technology or similar qualification
• Several years of professional experience with medical technology products
• Profound experience in regulated industries and familiarity with processes such as product development, design verification, design changes and risk management
• Very good understanding of external standards, especially IEC 60601-1
• High quality awareness and strong sense of responsibility
• Strong ability to self-organize and experience in managing projects in interdisciplinary teams
• Fluent English (written and spoken) andvery good German (minimum B2 level)
