Lead operational teams to manage and oversee all logistics operations of FG (Finished Goods) in Japan market, including warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
Collaborate with
logistics services providers
and internal
stakeholders
to ensure timely and
accurate delivery of goods

maintaining high service levels
, and controlling
logistics budgets
/cost.
Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics

Drive and
implement improvements
initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company
remains competitive.
Identify and mitigate risks within the logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- In a private, public, government or military environment, Eight (8) years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field with at least three (3) years in a leadership role.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work in cross functional teams.
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze information. Strong deep-diving, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Fluency in Japanese. Business-level English.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics from an accredited institution.
- Supply Chain or logistics experience in the manufacturing industry or third-party logistics company.
- Qualification in EHS/Safety background and or professional training certificate.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools, including SAP logistics modules.
