ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Manage, coordinate, and facilitate all assigned initiatives while adhering to the SAFe Agile methodology.

  • Partner with lines of business, Enterprise Support Teams, Enterprise Project Office, Platform Teams, and Software Engineering Directors

  • Leverage knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles to ensure that Scrum Team deliverable are met on time and within budget.

  • Facilitate team ceremonies.

  • Navigate the organization in order to remove impediments on behalf of the team.

  • Ensures Agile tools are up to date.

  • Responsible for ensuring Truist Agile TDLC is appropriately followed.

  • Troubleshoot, solve, or consult on, problems and recommend appropriate action.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ professional experience, for example: at least two+ years in a delivery role (developer, tester, architect, BA, business owner, etc.)

  • Prior experience in a Scrum Master role

  • Two+ years of experience working on or with Agile teams

  • Communicate effectively with team members, management and product owners/managers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College Degree in Computer Science, Math or related field of study
  • Financial industry experience
  • SAFe Scrum Master Certification or Scrum Master Certification other industry recognized organizations
  • Two or more years being a Scrum Master on an ART
  • Experience with forming new Scrum teams
  • Excellent communication and people skills, ability to keep an open mind, to be supportive and motivate others
  • Experience working with onshore offshore team mix
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with reporting on Agile metrics
  • Experience with Rally


Visual / Audio / Speaking

Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.

Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding

Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.

Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
