As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Creating and integrating cloud-native technologies and architectural approaches.
• Understanding industry differentiators, exercise design thinking, analyze systems and develop solutions from initial idea to release
• Building proof of concepts to help make design choices and recommend technologies
• Working with product managers and product architects to help inform the product direction
• Developing best practices, sharing knowledge, and mentoring
• Collaborating with engineering teams in an Agile environment that fosters innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 12 years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Have deep experience building highly available, fault-tolerant and scalable Kubernetes Platform Clusters and Cloud Native technologies (e.g. Cilium, RKE2, distributed databases)
• Have advanced knowledge of Kubernetes concepts such as Operator/Controller patterns, Cluster API, and multi-cluster
• Have experience and solid understanding of containers and the technologies that revolve around them
• Demonstrate significant experience with Linux, Go, Python, Bash
• Possess familiarity with CSI, CNI, Crossplane, Load Balancing, and Service Mesh frameworks
