This role will report to the Director of Government & Corporate Affairs APAC & Regulatory Affairs ANZ, who is based in Sydney. There will be a matrix report to Senior Director, Corporate Affairs, International Markets.

•: Draft and distribute press releases and other materials, organise interviews and press conferences, handle media inquiries, and build strong relationships with key media outlets.

•: Lead crisis communication plans, provide strategic counsel and manage communications to the media and public.

•Monitor and analyse effectiveness of media coverage and public perception, as well as communication activities and outcomes.
•

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications, or public relations with a focus on the pharmaceutical, healthcare and/ or tech industry
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communications strategies and campaigns
• Strong media relations skills and experience managing relationships with media outlets.
• Experience in crisis communication and issues management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of the APAC & ANZ media landscape and cultural nuances
