As field technician, you will have the opportunity to work with smart expert colleagues and directly at Jacob’s client sites, interacting with clients and subcontractors, with the following main responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct environmental sampling activities, involving soil, groundwater and soil vapor;
- Supervise investigation and remediation activities, to allow for their completion in safety conditions and compliant with technical specifications and best practices;
- Collect and analyze filed data, and prepare technical reporting about conducted fieldwork;
- Ensure compliance with Company Quality, Environmental, H&S procedures;
- Develop assigned tasks in a proactive way;
- Building and maintain strong relationships with client site representatives, subcontractors, Jacobs PMs, and other projects stakeholders.
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences (or equivalent) or diploma in similar fields;
- 0-3 years of experience in environmental sector, with specific focus or attitude on fieldwork;
- Basic Data management and reporting skills, knowledge of MS Office pack;
- Fluency in written and spoken Italian and basic knowledge of English, other language knowledge could be a plus;
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently;
- Good communication and teamwork skills, desire to learn and grow;
- Mindset open to innovation, digitalization, visual communication.
