Lead a team size of 8-10 associates, who perform daily processing of trade and credit products, report preparation and governance functions.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with other operations teams, compliance, technology, sales, product, finance, risk and technology, to ensure deliverables are executed in a cohesive and coordinated manner.
Act as a primary contact point for regulatory authorities, auditors and internal stakeholders on matters related to regulatory reporting and operational governance.
Prepare and present reports, recommendations and investigative findings to senior management, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and regulatory developments to advise the organization on strategic and operational impacts.
Lead projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing capacity, improving operational efficiency, accuracy and compliance in regulatory reporting.
Develop and implement policies and procedures which support robust regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
Skills:
Minimum total 10 years of direct working experience in financial services, including minimum 5 year experience in managing team(s) executing banking operations and regulatory related deliverables, including report preparation.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Strong understanding of data governance, risk management and internal controls.
Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in statistical reporting platforms such as STATsmart and ESS DSS and statistical reporting regulatory policies, with strong technical aptitude.
Strong thought leadership, independent and critical thinker with highly developed problem-solving skills.
