Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD)from Franceor equivalent legal degree with admission to practice law in the relevantjurisdiction.
  • Extensive legal experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Proventrack recordintechnology,corporateand commerciallaw, regulatory compliance, and litigation management.
  • Proventrack recordof initiating and driving cross-functional strategic projects across a large interdependent organization.
  • Strong business acumen and ability toprovidepragmatic legal advice.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of the French language.

  • Experience working in a multinational corporationand/or technology sector is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage theFrancelegal team, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with Microsoft’s values.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to seniorsalesleadership and business units on a wide range of legaland regulatoryissues.Helpin-country teamsshape strategy and execution of strategic sales priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws andregulations, andproactively manage legal risks.
  • Overseelitigationand disputes matters(excluding HR and consumer disputes),proactive and reactiveregulatoryengagements, and Public Sector contract negotiations.Represent the Corporate External and Legal Affairs (CELA) team in theFranceCompliance Committee.
  • Work with theRegionalDealTeamwhen neededtosupport regulatory elements of Enterprise Commercial customer contract negotiations. Work with theRegionalSmallMediumEnterprise&CorporateCELA lead when needed to support regulatory scaled resources such as self-help materials for the SME&C sales motion.
  • Work with theRegional and AreaGovernment Affairs Leadsto ensurealignment between policy engagements and other regulatory engagements, and emerging or multidisciplinary regulatory priorities such as privacy, security,AIand critical infrastructure.
  • Responsiblyleverageoutside counsel resourcestodrivebudgetefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with regional and global legal teams tolandMicrosoft’s globalobjectiveswithin theFrance-specific context, and to drive cross-border projectsincluding CELA Customer and Partner Solutions strategic priorities.
  • Represent Microsoft in interactions withseniorexternal stakeholders, including regulators,senior legal officers forprivate andpublic sectorcustomers,industry bodies, and legalindustry leaders.
