A successful software engineer excels at understanding user needs through discovery work and engaging with stakeholders to secure buy-in and drive adoption of the tools and processes they design and implement.
Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient data management solutions.
- Lead projects that require coordination across engineering, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Act as a liaison across multiple teams to drive alignment on data engineering initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption and integration of solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the availability and performance of our systems.

Technical Expertise:
- At lease 5 years of engineering experience
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Java/Kotlin.
- Proven experience with distributed systems and data-intensive applications.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Strong knowledge of data systems, including relational and non-relational data stores.
- Experience with big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink or Snowflake).
Nice to have:
- Experience building or implementing data products, schema management, data contracts, data privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR)
- Experience leading projects, requirements gathering and product management.
