The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Material Create Specialist (m/f/*) for Transportation and Electronics, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
- Responsible for project management of material creation for assigned division and business teams.
- Worker is self-directed, brings problem-solving skills to the position, and provides best practicing sharing within the workgroup.
- Subject matter expert (SME) in the material creation process, data governance, and master data set-up.
- Manages several projects at once and is able to prioritize projects based on customer and business impact
- Responsible for establishing relevant material create lead times and valid need by dates and tracking performance to those metrics.
- Works closely with data providers in the material creation process to complete data collection steps in a timely manner .
- Works closely with the data providers and data operations specialist to reduce data quality issues, data delays, and rejects.
- Provides individual training and coaching on the material creation process to portfolio leads, data providers and peers
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
Professional knowledge (processes, technical, critical in the role)
Work experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing, Master Data Management
English - Strong verbal and written communication skills
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include
Lean / Six Sigma Certified (Green Belt/Black Belt)
Project Management, ITIL, SCRUM Certification
Foreign language skills
Proficient in Excel
Knowledge of Systems - Global Material Create and Extension (Global MCE) , SharePoint, Horizon, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft 360 Tools

Can be located in any EMEA country
