What you`ll do

We are looking for an experienced and hands on Senior Technology Consultant with a strong focus on data management and cloud application development. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading the teams for designing advanced data management solutions and implementing data architecture standards to ensure data integrity and security. Your responsibilities will also include leading the development of scalable and efficient applications, aligning them with the latest industry standards. Your expertise will be crucial in driving innovation and ensuring the robustness of our data systems and applications.The Role:
The role involves acting as a Senior Technology Consultant, this includes the design & delivery of all phases in data migration projects. The Analysis of the data migration requirements, advising the project members and definition of the data migration strategy together with international teams is on central aspect of the role. You will act as mentor & technical go to person for team members supporting their data migration project work.

What you bring

• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology
• 5+ years of professional working experience in IT or developer role with strong technical exposure
• Solid foundation in computer science, with strong skills in data structures and algorithms
• Experience and knowledge in ETL processes and tools (Data Services, HANA, Data Intelligence, MDG, etc.) with a passion to build quality applications hands on
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects within given deadlines in a complex environment
• Ability to work in a multi-national and multi-cultural team
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• High level of motivation, flexibility and agility
• Fluent in English (German a plus)
• Profound knowledge of business partner, material, contracts/orders in SAP is a plus
• Experienced in agile delivery methodologies, ideally the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus
• Proven knowledge in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) is a plus

The EDT Data Migration team is a critical enabler of our business success by executing internal migration projects as well as developing and managing a variety of tools around data migration, quality and governance used by Business and IT.
Our key objectives are:

• Run migration projects with state-of-the-art data tools and execution practices
• Manage metadata of SAP’s various system landscapes in LeanIX
• Harmonize and govern reference data across multiple business critical systems with our own custom build solution

Successful candidates might be required to undergo a background verification with an external vendor.
