Your role and responsibilities
A key focus of this role is the development of high quality and reliable automated system tests to verify new function / enhancements within the MQ product.
A successful individual for this role should possess:

- Strong analytical and problem solving expertise.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion.
**Please note - This position requires working onsite a minimum of 3 days per week at our Hursley location

Required technical and professional expertise
- Knowledge in Perl, Python or similar scripting languages.
- Good working knowledge of Linux and Windows platforms.
- Expertise in testing practices and familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- 4+ years experience in software development.
- Skills in C/C++, Java & Ansible.
- Exposure to development / diagnostic tools and processes (Eclipse, git, GDB, VisualSudio, Windbg, Wireshark).
- Exposure to agile development methodologies and tools (git / Salesforce).
