In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of new container technologies being delivered to AWS customers, as well as, work with multiple AWS ML Service teams (e.g. Sagemaker and EKS) on integration of this technology into their services. New design and development is also required to improve debug experience of container-based customer deployments and better integrate into future container technologies.Work/Life Balance

Key job responsibilitiesKey responsibilities of this role includes maintaining regular deployments of new Deep Learning Containers, developing new capabilities in container orchestration and container services, and integration of all of the above into many AWS services used for Machine Learning. New capabilities vary from new tools, advances in container technology, and shared development of new features in both EC2 and Machine Learning service teams. A final responsibility is to maintain customer-facing documentation, which will require excellent written communication skills.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
