Assembly of precision machine components with some machining of parts (milling and turning) as required for assembly of custom engineered automated machinery
Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings assembly drawings and detail component drawings
Mechanical systems testing and debug, systems commissioning
Installation and troubleshooting of machines on-site
Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
Degree or Certificate in Mechanical Technology, Toolmaking or Machining, Millwright, completed apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
5+ years of proven experience in assembly of custom automated machinery or other precision mechanical assembly is a strong plus
Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, mechanical drawings and pneumatic schematics
Familiar with basic hand tools and basic measuring tools (Vernier, micrometers, height gauge etc.) to tolerances of .001
Familiar with operation of machine shop equipment (lathe / mill / surface grinder) and must have your own tools
Ability to travel up to 30-50% domestically and internationally. Flight, food, and lodging are covered. Must have and maintain a valid passport
Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
