Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain code, assist with the running of the code on IBM Cloud
• Assist in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Perform L3 support of the code as it runs on dev and prod environments
• Update security vulnerabilities
• Stay up-to-date with the latest React and TypeScript trends, best practices, and technologies
• Learn, understand, and document the high-level design of the microservices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React and Redux
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with cloud-based development
• Fluency in English – both verbal and written

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Server side knowledge preferable in Python
• Experience in building and consuming REST apis
• Experience in relational databases
