Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, like electrical, mechanical, optical, or physics
- 10+ years of industry experience in consumer electronics
- 10+ years of experience driving vendor interactions and negotiating technical specifications to achieve project technical goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced in leading optical and opto-mechanical module technical development over full project cycle, from initial design requirements to sustained production
- Knowledge of and experience with manufacturing methods and processes used on fabrication of optical modules, including lenses and actuators
- Experience of bringing up new vendor to technology development and mass production
- Skilled in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies for tackling complex systemic issues, performing failure analysis, data analysis, image processing and devising effective mitigation plans
- Effective communication and multi-functional collaboration in the areas of optical, mechanical, electrical design and reliability team
- Experienced in writhing technical requirement specification documents
- Familiar with metrology or manufacturing equipment development
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
