Quality Supervisor*

As a Quality Supervisor for the Aearo Technologies, LLC site in Newark, DE, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Partnering with other quality and business leaders to support the Quality Management System.
• Championing and leading internal and external audits including associated corrective actions.
• Focusing on customer quality and improving customer satisfaction, including customer visits and communication.
• Implementing appropriate total quality management strategies including effective communication of the quality strategies and priorities.
• Representing the quality department and serving as the gatekeeper for quality for New Product Introduction (NPI) and commercialization.
• Providing leadership, coaching and direction to the Newark quality and operations teams.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and
  five (5) years of experience private in one or more of the following areas: Quality, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, or Operations in private, public, government or military environment

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND eight (8)
  years of experience private in one or more of the following areas: Quality, Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, or Operations in private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Three (3) years of direct supervisory experience in a quality or manufacturing environment
• Automotive, Aerospace or related industry experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Experience implementing and managing to ISO9001 and IATF16949
• Experience working with global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers including PPAP and FAI
• Experience working with NPI and commercialization as a quality gatekeeper
• Bachelors or advanced degree
