Central to success is a consistent and effective change engagement approach to transition staff to new spaces, technologies, and a new way of working.

Based in Singapore, the role will report to the head of Global Workplace Change Engagement who is based in New York.

The Workplace Change Engagement Lead is responsible for all aspects of the change engagement program for Asia Pacific – including oversight of the standard change management approach for all projects.

In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of the Global Workplace Change Engagement program.
  • Work with local RES personnel to understand, assess, and define the level of change required on each project, create the scope of work, map project stakeholders, and define roles and responsibilities.
  • Set clear stakeholder expectations on how to prepare for the journey of change.
  • Communicate to colleagues at all levels of the business to create awareness and drive adoption.
  • Ensure all change activities are integrated into overall project plan (architects, technology, facilities, construction etc.)
  • Actively engage with and oversee external Change Engagement execution consultants, guiding them through Citi’s standard 5-phase approach to Workplace Change and ensure high quality, consistent delivery.
  • On occasion, conduct change management execution activities on small projects.
  • Support project & change execution teams in refining design / operational requirements.
  • Regularly report key metrics and project status. Identify risks but also to highlight best practices to incorporate e into the Citi standard approach.
  • Recognize, report, and escalate project risks; oversee remediation of risks raised.
  • Conduct changes related activities associated with introduction and adoption of smart building elements & workplace related innovations, in support of the wider group remit around innovation and simplification.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10 + years diverse professional experience in change management or a related field: (i.e., project or program management, workplace planning / programming, strategic planning, building design / construction, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering large scale workplace change engagements for corporate offices.
  • Proven ability / experience in working independently due to time zones / geographies.
  • Expertise in current workplace trends including applied knowledge of activity-based work strategies, concepts, and designs.
  • Experience managing multiple high visibility projects across geographies.
  • Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a team with diverse skill sets and cultures.
  • Proven ability to work well in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, influence, and motivate.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills; sound judgment and leadership skills.
  • A critical thinker with an understanding of process and relationships.
  • Formal change management qualification from a relevant organization (i.e., Prosci etc.) is a plus.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, potentially Master’s degree
