- Good Knowledge of ASME, IS standards and codes.
- Good Knowledge of IBR, CPCB norms, PESO and SMPV requirement.
- Good knowledge of various material specifications, grades, and their application
- Good knowledge of equipment layouts, installation, O & M requirement.
- Awareness of various insulation material their properties as well as area of application.
- Awareness of various painting/ coating requirements.
- Good Knowledge about various hazards and associated requirement.
- Good knowledge of various inspection and testing procedures, requirements, and standards.
Skills
- Excellent managerial skills, communication skills and good understanding of project management.
- Good learning and understanding capability.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi - disciplinary team.
- Self - driven with good management & reporting capabilities.
- Competent user of Microsoft packages like Outlook, Excel & word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of 3D review software’s like Navisworks and SPR
- Knowledge of other supporting software like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, Office 365
Here's what you'll need
Responsible for
- Man-power planning for various projects.
- Give recruitment plan.
- Short list, interview and hire suitable candidates as per the various openings in the department.
- Understanding client requirement and guiding the team for achieving the same.
- Manhour estimation for new projects, provide ETC for old projects.
- Monitor changes happening in the projects and control the man hours.
- Participate in internal/external audits.
- Department standardization
- Training to team members.
- Develop various check lists, standards, data sheets.
- Involve in client/vendor meetings for critical issues, packages requirements.
- Ensure team members are following all the procedural requirements and maintaining all the documentation.
Educational Qualification
- BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering With 15 to 20 Years of Core Experience
Language Competency
Good English written and verbal skills & ability to interact / coordinate.
