Working with ESRI, Open Source GIS software and Cloud architecture you will lead on designing and implementing complex applications to support our wide range of market sectors and delivery teams.
- Ability to transform complex user requirements into a technical architecture, produce architectural documentation using standard approaches and design, integrate and implement technical solutions
- Ability to challenge current thinking with innovative solutions to technical requirements, to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff and to road map the evolution of a solution to formulate a plan for its long term development
- Experience of agile methodologies, Cloud architecture (Azure and AWS), implementing security standards to protect data and software solutions
- Modern approaches to user identities and authentication
- Version control and code collaboration tools such as git/ GitHub/ Azure Dev Ops / Pipelines / Continuous Integration.
- Ability to automate using appropriate languages (i.e. Python / Powershell etc)
