You will be a Software Development Manager leading talented engineers working on designing and developing long term, scalable and high-impact programs within the Worldwide Grocery Stores Tech (WWGST) organization. You will be leading cross org e-Commerce enablement projects, inventory and availability management and Instore solutions.- You will own the software development lifecycle overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.- You will be leading a passionate group of engineers in architecting and developing large scale distributed technology solutions and also innovating new ideas and providing technology directions to our business.
- You will champion best practices and innovation driving the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies within your team, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
- You will communicate technical decisions and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- You will work on engineers career plans and help them grow.

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product and program management teams

- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
