As Senior manager in our EY-GDS GRC Technology team, you will drive complex Enterprise GRC (eGRC) engagements and help solve broader risks through solution implementation. You will be responsible for ideating, developing & launching new services in line with the roadmap for Enterprise GRC solutions. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve business results through the application of technical and business solutions. You will have to deliver quality, insightful solutions and balance priorities between delivery, business, personal and team development.


Your key responsibilities

  • Lead technology focused practice of eGRC professionals and manage headcount growth, utilization targets, sales KPI and service delivery.
  • Share responsibility, provide support, foresee challenges, maintain clear communication channels with the senior management as well as possess a strong grasp on engagement operational activities.
  • Should possess the technical prowess to drive the projects and the capability to lead a team.
  • Develop connect with key client stakeholders, understand their business challenges/pain areas a work with leadership to propose innovative solutions.
  • Lead process walkthrough discussions to document end-to-end business processes and functional requirements.
  • Demonstrate a detailed knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, EY products and service lines.
  • Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo.
  • Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the intention to achieve exceptional client service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability.
  • Help manage the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking financials, proactive Project management and tracking of issues.
  • Support leadership to drive business development initiatives and account mining activities.
  • Build strong internal relationships within EY Consulting Services and with other services across the organization.
  • Support business development activities through both leading pursuits and developing strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Lead a range of projects / initiatives to deliver value and successful outcomes to our customers through the ServiceNow platform.
  • Work closely with clients and other stakeholders to define, design, and implement ServiceNow solutions and ensuring they address business problem and align with future state.
  • Lead workshops and 1-to-1 sessions using the platform to understand client challenges and demonstrate the potential solutions and outcomes.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong communication, presentation and team building skills and experience in producing high quality reports, papers, and presentations.
  • Effective client management skills to develop trust based relationship across EY teams and clients.
  • Develop people through effective coaching and mentoring.
  • Experience in executing and managing research and analysis of companies and markets trends, preferably from a commercial due diligence standpoint.
  • Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining, appraisal and training.
  • Maintain an educational program to continually develop skills of team members and self.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 12+ years industry experience, experience in technical leadership - leading larger teams. Should have led/completed at least 7 to 8 end-to-end end ServiceNow implementation engagements with at least 2-3 engagements in a similar role.
  • Ability to independently lead/drive pursuits and sales discussions.
  • Should be able to independently drive strategic initiatives within the firm.
  • Demonstrated ability to map solutions to address client business issues and problems.
  • Significant experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
  • Experience in IT solution architecture and understanding of enterprise architecture.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capability and ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • ServiceNow certifications in System Administrator, Application Developer, Implementation Specialist, or CTA are highly desirable.
  • Experience in strategy, business development, finance and budgeting is desirable.
  • Exposure to GRC products other than ServiceNow will be an added advantage (For e.g.Archer GRC, IBM Open pages, Enablon, and ERP’s like SAP, Oracle etc.)
  • Clear understanding of project lifecycle managements for e.g. SDLC, Agile and its deliverables

Ideally, you should also have

  • B.E/B.Tech (Comp. Science, IT, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications)/MBA with a minimum of 5+ years of experience with other Big3 or panelled SI/ ITeS companies
  • Robust understanding of program and project management practices
  • Demonstrated track record with a blue-chip consulting organization and/or a blue-chip organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivery management and client management.
  • Knowledge and experience of GRC/IRM modules.
  • Working knowledge of analytical tools and software to support data analysis and visualization engagements.
  • Good to have experience in GRC roadmap review, vendor comparison and selection.
  • Exposure to multiple GRC tools like Archer, MetricStream, Enablon, etc. would be an added advantage.
