In this role, you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your Role and Responsibilities
You will work on projects that help clients integrate strategy, process, technology, and information to increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value. You can take advantage of opportunities to master new skills, work across different disciplines, move into new challenges and develop a robust understanding of different industries.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Assists clients in the design, implementation, and support of the Workday Absence module.
- Does not necessarily specialize exclusively on payroll, compensation management, absence, benefits or talent (see alternative Role/Specialties).
- This specialty uses consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively implement the functionality into the client’s business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.
- This specialty includes implementation planning, fit analysis, facilitating design sessions to gather requirements, configuration, unit testing, rollout and potentially post-implementation support. Consultant resolves configuration and functional business issues across the various HR modules.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 3 years of Workday Core Functional and hand-on Workday experience, specifically configuration
- Have exposure to configuration across 2-3 different Modules within the Absence & Time Tracking
- Ability to create and update advanced reports
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Must be with Absence and/or Time Tracking Certification
- Team Lead experience
