Job responsibilities:
- Managing the brand as a business in terms of drivers, opportunities and return
- Establishing and sustaining our brand leadership as the best and most considered active asset manager in the region
- Analysing brand positioning and defining the brand messaging including brand narratives, tone of voice to effectively communicate our brand story and value proposition
- Leading the development and execution of integrated brand marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement and increase market share
- Leading and overseeing the development and implementation of creative concepts, visual assets and brand experience that effectively convey our brand identify and resonate with our target audience, and motivate them to ‘take action’
- Monitoring market trends, conduct customer research and competitive analysis and translate findings into actionable strategies that differentiate our brand and drive growth and drive projects and perform duties as and when required
- Overseeing new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities to ensure appropriateness and consistency of the brand delivery along customer journeys to drive customer engagement, satisfaction and loyalty and alignment with overall business objectives
- Monitoring and analysing brand performance metrics such as brand equity, customer perception, market share, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in branding and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and advocate on a collaborative culture to achieve common goals
- Anticipating market trends and keep the brand up to date and relevant to our customers while optimising content to reinforce brand recognition and reinforce the firm as a thought leader in the market
- Identifying and managing creative agencies on different kinds of projects should certain initiatives require outside assistance beyond the internal Design Studio
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Relevant Bachelor Degree with solid relevant experience
- Understanding of the mutual fund industry and investor behavior
- Strategic thinker with a passion for creativity and innovation
- A minimum of 10 years brand building experience both agency and in house, with customer marketing and experience in customer segmentation
- Expertise in building and sustaining leading global brands; demonstrated ability influencing internal and external partners as a brand champion
- Experience in translating brand and value insights into meaningful sales and marketing communications
- Solid experience in conducting quantitative and quality market research that involves field, interview and/or focus group assessments
- Effective experience developing and executing brand strategies across channels including social media; media planning and execution; and performance marketing
- Possesses strong design experience with an eye for aesthetics and also skills of analytics
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Chinese - both written and verbal
