What you need to know about the role:You will face the complex data challenges or problems for compliance domain, which turns the big data to more valuable business insights. You do not only understand the data deeply but also develop the enterprise-level big data solutions for massive data and various types of data for more business insights with high ATB, SLA, and short latency.

Job Description:

As a Software engineer, you will be responsible for working on the services that are integral to driving PayPal's compliance data product. You will work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and experimentation are a given.

Your day-to-day:

• Design, development, and testing of features/functions delivered
• Collaborating with peers and senior developers both within the team and across the organization
• Working with product managers using agile methodologies to deliver high quality solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Working with operations teams to ensure your data and services are highly available and reliable

What do you need to bring:

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields
• Solid technical skills including complier, operation system and database
• Good Java coding and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills in English

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bigdata skills and cloud native database knowledge
• Understanding of payment system and accounting
