Implementation and operation: Oversee the design and deployment of environmental programs and operational controls to enhance environmental performance. Ensure compliance with legal and other requirements, and lead environmental training and awareness programs to embed sustainability practices throughout the organization.Performance evaluation: Establish and manage a robust system for monitoring, measuring, and reporting environmental performance. Conduct regular internal audits of the EMS and regulatory compliance and analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement. Present performance reports and recommendations to top management.Continual improvement: Drive the ongoing enhancement of the EMS by leading management reviews, implementing corrective and preventative actions, and identifying innovative approaches to improve environmental performance.Diverse Experiences

Bachelor’s Degree in environmental engineering, geology, geography, biology, chemistry or related field of study5-7+ years’ experience serving as an environmental professional with solid regional or global environmental management systems (ISO 14001 EMS) experience including associated software tools.Experience in environmental program development, environmental compliance, environmental risk, environmental auditing and environmental permitting/reporting.

Master's degree in science, engineering or a related field10+ years in multinational company EMS and compliance program development, deployment, implementation and verification as well as 10+ years in developing and maintaining multi-site EMS.Excellent communication skills, strong relationship builder, solid influencing and negotiation skills, and the ability to coach at multiple levels.
