The Preferred Success team is looking for a Portfolio Analyst to support portfolio management analytics. The Portfolio Analyst is detail-oriented and responsible for overseeing the coordination of monthly and quarterly analytics in Preferred Success. You will have hands-on experience in portfolio analysis, reporting, and resource management. They are responsible for ensuring analysis is completed consistently across all controlling measures; coordinated with leadership communication schedule; and proactive in any observations and recommendations. This role will work closely with the Preferred Success Delivery Excellence team through accurate reporting and optimizing service delivery staffing.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting and Analysis
- Assist in monthly and quarterly reporting on margins, including charge outs and service order completion.
- Analyze performance metrics to support data-driven decision making and identify trends affecting product margins.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to deliver insights to stakeholders.
- Resource Management
- Manage and optimize staffing schedules for service delivery personnel to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Collaborate with various teams to understand staffing needs and promptly address any discrepancies.
- Monitor workforce utilization and provide recommendations for improved efficiency.
- Data Management and Visualization
- Collect, clean, and interpret complex data sets related to overall product performance.
- Leverage Excel and other data visualization tools to create compelling and accessible dashboards.
- Present findings to the Product Management Team and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Cross-Functional Communication
- Liaise between Product Management and other departments to ensure seamless information flow and service delivery processes.
- Support team projects and initiatives that may arise within the product management scope.

Education: Analytics, Finance or related field of study
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program
- Willing to commit for an 8-month full-time internship starting June 2025
- Team player attitude with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage working relationships with key internal stakeholders and business units
- Excellent written and oral communication in a variety of formats
- Demonstrated expertise in managing analytics projects
- Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in analyzing large volumes of data to extract actionable insights.
- Ability to interpret quantitative metrics and translate them into meaningful business implications.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
- Capability to create complex spreadsheets and reports that streamline data management and reporting processes.
- Familiarity with dashboard creation and management using tools like SAP Analytics Cloud or similar platforms to visualize data effectively.
- Technical Acumen - Comfort with learning and using new software or systems related to data management and reporting. Easily adaptable.
