Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, build, deliver and maintain software applications & services. Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform and/or application. Responsible for full software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.

  • Typically a 1st line manager of professionals or a 2nd line manager of a professional department. Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.

  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires significant experience in the Digital Technology & Software Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

  • Technical Expertise in AWS
    Deep understanding of AWS services, architecture, and best practices.
    Experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on AWS.
    Familiarity with cloud security, networking, and cost management.

  • Leadership & Team Management
    Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.
    Ability to mentor and develop team members, focusing on performance management.
    Experience in fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

  • Project Management & Budgeting
    Strong project management skills to oversee the development of new solutions and maintenance of the install base.
    Expertise in budgeting, cost optimization, and financial planning for cloud projects.
    Ability to prioritize resources effectively across multiple projects.

  • Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving
    Ability to align technical strategies with business goals.
    Experience in developing roadmaps for cloud solutions and ensuring their successful execution.
    Strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.

  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
    Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Cultural Alignment & Change Management
    Ability to align with and promote the organization’s culture and values.
    Experience in driving change and managing transitions within teams.
    Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and inclusive team culture.

  • Experience in Cloud-Based Solution Development
    Hands-on experience in developing and deploying cloud-based solutions, particularly in AWS.
    Familiarity with building insights applications and integrating them with existing systems.

  • Business Acumen
    Understanding of the industry, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
    Ability to connect technical work with broader business objectives and outcomes.
