Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in telecommunications, OSP, ISP, AC/DC power systems, and relay rack/cabinet/cage construction.
- 2 years of experience in telecommunications at carrier scale working with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer2/3 routers, and data services.
Preferred qualifications:
- 4 years of experience directing field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, or vendors in a telecommunications working environment.
- 2 years of experience with Network Installation, Network Configuration, Network Infrastructure, Network Operations, Optical Engineering and Operations, IP, Project Management, or Influencing.
- Experience collaborating across multiple levels and functions.
- Knowledge of ISP/OSP Network Architecture, Data Center Architecture.
- Ability to engage/influence strategic decision-making.
