The Role:

In this role as a (Senior) Provisioning Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building self-service provisioning and integration automation tools that enhance the efficiency of our SAP Cloud Solution teams, while maintaining strict adherence to SAP product standards and guidelines. You will contribute to a cross-functional group focused on delivering secure-by-default architectural solutions and self-service tooling, leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles. .

Working both independently and in close collaboration within the small team of co-located engineers, you will use data-driven decision-making and engage with various stakeholders, including operations engineers, architects, DevOps specialists, and Product Management, to ensure the success of our automation initiatives.

What you bring:

You have a strong automation engineering background, being responsible to design, develop, validate, ship and operate cloud native solutions at scale.

• BA/MA/Diploma in a technical field of study

• At least 4 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role, with significant exposure to automation and integration

• Strong public cloud and scripting/programming background with Infrastructure as Code automation

• Technical expertise

• Strong programming and design skills (Python, GoLang) and automation and orchestration (Ansible, Terraform, Flux)

• Deep understanding of configuration management tools

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure management and API integration

• Knowledge of networking, security protocols and best practices

• Experience with the SAP applications portfolio is a strong advantage

• Very strong analytical thinking: ability to structure problems and their potential solution proposals
