This position is within the Third Party Management area at Banco Citi Mexico, in charge of managing regulatory aspects related to third parties of the Bank and the Brokerage House.


Responsibilities:

  • Assurance of compliance with local regulations for areas and functions in Mexico that receive services provided by Third Parties
  • Execution and supervision of procedures and controls related to regulatory aspects
  • Advice and support to users about procedures related to regulatory aspects
  • Constant interaction with different specialist areas within the organization in Mexico and other countries
  • Balanced and daily risk management and control, in an environment that demands proactivity, strategic vision and permanent assertiveness.
  • Address audit and regulatory reviews for operational and control aspects related to regulatory compliance
  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities.
  • Applies in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the subfunction as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function; and, requires basic commercial awareness.
  • Oversees regulatory function meet business needs in compliance with the regulation as well as global and local policies and procedures
  • Ensures all stakeholders and areas are identified and included in the day-to-day activities
  • Escalates risks when appropriate.
  • Makes recommendations for training and development needs.
  • Directs area supported through responsibility for delivery of end results.
  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Negotiate skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
