Must Have: -

• Strong Experience in Java Programming Language (Java 8 and later) concepts
• Strong Knowledge of Spring boot and REST API
• Good understanding of microservices architecture
• Good understanding of Relational database concepts and SQL joins
• Good understanding of O-R mapping tools like JPA, Hibernate
• Good understanding of test-driven development using Junit, Mockitio.
• Should possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Exposure of any event messaging framework like Kafka, TIBCO, RabbitMQ
• Understanding Dev-ops tools Jenkins, SonarQube, UDeploy, BMC RLM or related tools.
• Extensive experience with Logging, Monitoring, Application Performance Management, and other observations tools
• Rich work experience in Linux environments and shell scripting
• Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in an environment that demands balancing between business functional and technical interactions and priorities
• Contribute to organizational initiatives in wide ranging areas including competency development, training, organizational building activities etc.
• Ability to seamlessly work across cross functional teams and portfolio
• Mentor the junior members of the team in various area of personal and skill development

Nice to have

• Proficient with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Familiarity on working on projects under Agile Methodology
• Ability to quickly learn new and existing technologies and work on PoC as a part of larger project goals

Responsibilities:

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas
• Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement
• Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality
• Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
• Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
• Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
• Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of relevant experience
• Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects
• Experience with dependency management, change management, continuous integration testing tools, and audit/compliance requirements
• Extensive knowledge of software engineering and technologies
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Education:
